Picking a location is half the work of a great senior session. If you're not sure where to start, here are five spots around north-central Pennsylvania that consistently deliver — from small-town charm to wide-open scenery.
You don't have to drive somewhere new to get a great backdrop. Williamsport, South Williamsport, Hughesville, Montoursville, and Muncy all have the same ingredients that make for strong senior portraits: brick storefronts, painted murals, quiet side streets, and a bit of texture that photographs better than a plain backyard. If your downtown is walkable, it's worth a look before you rule it out.
Brandon Park gives you a large stretch of green space right in the city — mature trees, open lawn, and enough variety in one park that we can move between a few different looks without driving anywhere else.
The riverfront trail gives you water, open sky, and a change of scenery from a typical park session. It works well at different times of day, so we'll plan around your schedule rather than chasing a specific hour.
A bit further out, but worth the drive if you want something that doesn't look like everyone else's senior photos. The lake, the tree line, and the open fields around it give us a completely different backdrop than anything in town.
Rider Park is over 800 acres, bordering the Loyalsock State Forest, and it's the spot we reach for when a session calls for something bigger — trails, overlooks, and wide, open views.
